Epoxy Flake Floors for Warehouses, Garages and Showrooms

A bare concrete floor wears down, stains and collects dust. An epoxy floor coating turns it into a tough, sealed surface that is easy to clean and looks professional. Epoxy flake floors add decorative colour flakes for extra texture and a finished look.

What is an epoxy flake floor?

An epoxy flake floor is built up in layers. Epoxy resin is applied to the prepared concrete, coloured flakes are broadcast into the wet coating, and the surface is then sealed with a protective topcoat. The result is a hard-wearing, seamless finish with a speckled, decorative appearance.

Where epoxy flake floors are used

  • Warehouses and factories
  • Workshops and garages
  • Showrooms and retail spaces
  • Residential garages and entertainment areas

Benefits

  • Resistant to everyday wear, oil and many common spills
  • Easy to sweep and mop
  • Less dust than bare concrete
  • A clean, professional appearance that suits customer-facing areas
  • Colour choices to suit your brand or building

Gloss or matt finish

Flake floors can be finished in a gloss or a matt topcoat. Gloss gives a shinier, more reflective surface, while matt gives a softer, more subdued look. Tell us which you prefer, and how the floor will be used, and we will advise.

Colour and finish samples

These are colour and finish samples, not photos of completed floors. Flake colours and mixes can be chosen to suit your space or brand. Colours on screen can differ from the real finish, so we can show you samples in person.

Your company logo in the floor

We have completed a flake epoxy floor with the customer's company logo embedded in the coating. It is a way to carry your branding into a showroom, reception area or workshop, with the logo protected inside the finish.

Why preparation matters

Epoxy only performs as well as the concrete beneath it. The floor must be properly cleaned, repaired and prepared, and moisture in the slab has to be considered before coating.
